In preparation for the annual CCDC (Canadian Cyber Defence Challenge) event on April 9th 2020, CCDC and MITT are excited to invite you to join us for our Computer Defenders Seminar Series. This is the first of three seminars held monthly heading into the April event. Training for students will be held at the MITT Henlow Campus and live streamed via YouTube.

The CCDC program develops students' awareness and understanding of cyber security fundamentals. This is an event-anchored learning event that brings students, educators, and Information Technology (IT) industry professionals together in a collaborative environment that fosters advancements in practices, technologies, and business solutions focused in the area of cyber security. The challenge offers interactive, scenario-based events and simulated exercises that help participating individuals develop some of the key IT foundation skills such as networks, servers, and security along with the soft skills of customer service, professional ethics, and communications.

This is also a chance to get a close behind-the-scenes look at MITT’s cutting-edge Cyber Defence, Cloud Administration, Network Security and Software Development programs and  infrastructure.

Subsequent dates for the remaining two sessions are tentatively scheduled for February 8th and March 14th and will be solidified based upon attendance interest.
